Virtual Range Card

Build a drag-aware dope chart, tweak wind drift, and export quick adjustments before your next match.

Enter average muzzle velocity for this firearm and load. Use chronograph data when available.
Enter the manufacturer-published G1 BC for the exact projectile. BC is unitless and must match the G1 drag model used by this range card.
Enter projectile weight only, using your preferred weight unit.
Measure vertically from the center of the bore to the center of the optic or sight line.
Enter the confirmed range where bullet path intersects the line of sight.
Set the spacing between range-card rows. Smaller intervals provide finer detail.
Set the farthest range included in the card.
Enter average wind speed along the bullet path. Use 0 for a no-wind card.
Angle relative to the line of fire: 0 or 180 degrees is head/tail wind, 90 is full-value crosswind, and 270 is the opposite crosswind.

Range confirmation

Trajectory calibration

Enter the elevation correction that actually centered the group. The regenerated card will honor each confirmed distance.

Confirmed-dope curve is the safest default and changes elevation only. Muzzle-velocity or effective-BC truing changes the physical model and should be used only when the other inputs are verified.

Recommended default. Builds a piecewise elevation curve through every confirmed point without changing calculated velocity, energy, or wind drift.

No calibration is active. Standard model values are being used.

Distance (yards)Range from the muzzle in your preferred distance unit. Drop (in)Vertical correction from the line of sight. Positive values indicate the bullet is below the sight line. MOAElevation correction in minutes of angle. MILElevation correction in milliradians. Drift (in)Estimated horizontal wind displacement. Wind MOAWind correction in minutes of angle. Energy (ft-lb)Estimated projectile energy remaining at this distance. Velocity (fps)Estimated projectile speed remaining at this distance. Time (s)Estimated time of flight in seconds. MOA adjustmentEditable field for the real-world MOA correction you want exported. It starts with the calculated correction. MIL adjustmentEditable field for the real-world MIL correction you want exported. It starts with the calculated correction.
