Case Weight Grouper

Paste case weights, choose a sorting strategy, and get exact tray spot assignments for matched brass lots.

Enter each prepared case's weight in grains, one per line. Optional case labels are preserved in the tray plan.

One case per line. Use plain weights or labels like Case 10, 94.31.

Tight bands keep adjacent weights together; balanced lots distribute similar weight ranges across equal groups; tolerance bands never intentionally exceed the selected spread.
Maximum number of cases assigned to each sequential tray spot for tight-band and tolerance grouping.
Maximum case-weight difference in grains preferred within a spot. The exact behavior depends on the selected grouping strategy.

Groups above this spread are flagged for review.

Number of digits shown after the decimal point in results and exports. Match this to the useful precision of your scale.
Text placed before each tray position number in the assignment table and export.
First tray position number to use. Change this when continuing a plan in a partially filled tray.
Controls whether the first tray assignment contains the lightest or heaviest cases. Group membership is otherwise unchanged.
